In 2023, Correia Rosa pharmacies decided to mark International Women’s Day with a donation to APAV, the Portuguese Association for Victim Support. This support clearly reflects our mission to actively contribute to the health and well-being of the community, as an act of violence is certainly detrimental to a person’s health and well-being.

What should we do when we see this sign?
In this context, it is important to know how we can seek help for ourselves or for someone else who may be a victim of domestic violence. To this end, we have the following image, on display at Correia Rosa pharmacies, which explains what we should do. In the Caldas da Rainha area, there is the Caldas da Rainha Municipal Council’s Support Centre for Victims of Domestic Violence, which operates within the council’s social services department.
