Cookie Policy
1- The concept of ‘cookies’
‘Cookies’ are small text files containing relevant information, sent by a website and stored on the computer of a user browsing the Internet. Cookies contain a number that identifies the user’s device and thus enables the website to track the user’s activity on that particular website, recording, for example, the location from which the site was accessed, the duration of the session, the type of device, the operating system, the browser used, the pages visited, the number of clicks and, generally speaking, other aspects relating to the user’s interests. Consequently, when you visit the website again, it will be able to recognise that you have visited it before and, in some cases, will tailor the content to reflect that previous visit, thereby better adapting our online offerings to meet your needs.
In this policy, we discuss the concept of ‘cookies’, but these are just one of the tracking technologies used on websites. Other similar technologies include, for example, pixels, tags, iBeacons, JavaScript, mobile identifiers, HTML5 local storage, Local Shared Objects and fingerprinting techniques. These technologies may be used alongside ‘cookies’ for similar purposes. To make this policy easy to read, we refer to all these tracking technologies as ‘cookies’.
The Correia Rosa Lda. website (the “Site”) can be accessed without the need to enable non-technical cookies. However, disabling certain cookies may affect the site’s proper functioning.
2 - Consent to the use of ‘cookies’
When you access this Website, Correia Rosa Lda. informs you of the existence of this “Cookie Policy” (the “Policy”) and asks you about your preferences regarding the use of “cookies”.
You may choose to consent or not to consent to the use of “cookies” by Correia Rosa Lda., with the exception of technical or strictly necessary “cookies”, for which consent is not required as disabling them would prevent the Website from functioning.
You are also informed that we may use and install ‘cookies’ from websites outside Correia Rosa Lda. on the basis of our legitimate interests. Our legitimate interest consists, in particular, of providing you with an appealing, user-friendly, technically functional and secure website, notably through the use of technical or strictly necessary ‘cookies’.
You may manage your consents at any time, in accordance with section 4 of this Policy.
3 - Types of ‘cookies’ used
As described below, the Website uses: (i) technical or strictly necessary ‘cookies’; (ii) performance ‘cookies’; (iii) functionality ‘cookies’; (iv) advertising ‘cookies’; and (v) security ‘cookies’.
Each of these ‘cookies’ may be set by Correia Rosa Lda.’s websites (‘first-party cookies’) or by websites outside Correia Rosa Lda. (‘third-party cookies’).
This website uses ‘cookies’ that are deleted as soon as you leave the website (session ‘cookies’) and close your browser. We also use ‘cookies’ that remain on your device even after you leave the website (persistent ‘cookies’) or close your browser. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specific period, which may vary depending on the individual cookie. However, you can delete these cookies at any time via your browser’s security settings, as set out in section 4 of this Policy.
The “cookies” currently used by the Website are as follows:
- Technical or strictly necessary “cookies”
Technical or strictly necessary ‘cookies’ are ‘cookies’ installed for the purpose of enabling navigation on the Website, allowing, amongst other things, a proper user experience, authentication on the Website, the management of consents and privacy preferences, the processing of payments, the display of the correct page for the device you are using, as well as the security of the Website, with a view to preventing fraud and protecting users, by preventing malicious websites from interacting with you without your knowledge or impersonating you.
For this reason, these ‘cookies’ do not require your consent.
The information collected via these cookies is aggregated and processed anonymously, and does not allow for the monitoring of users’ browsing activity on websites other than the Correia Rosa Lda website.
- Performance ‘cookies’
Performance cookies enable us to track visits and traffic sources, so that Correia Rosa Lda. can measure and improve the Website’s performance. These cookies help us to identify the most frequently visited pages and analyse how visitors use the Website.
They enable us, for example, to determine whether visits to this website result from campaigns run by Correia Rosa Lda. or whether such visits are linked to the purchase of a product or service. All information collected by these ‘cookies’ is anonymous.
- Functionality “cookies”
Functionality cookies enable the Website to provide enhanced features and personalisation, improving your experience when using this Website. For example, by remembering your preferences when you return to the Website. If you do not allow these cookies, some or even all of these features may not work properly.
- Advertising ‘cookies’
Advertising ‘cookies’ are ‘cookies’ that enable us to show you adverts that are deemed to be relevant to your interests and preferences, including, for example, the ability to serve and convert adverts, personalise them, limit the number of times they are shown to you, opt out of adverts you have chosen not to see, and measure reach. These “cookies” are set by our advertising partners and may be used by those partners to build a profile based on your interests and to show you relevant adverts on other websites.
4 - Deletion and management of ‘cookies´
Users may, at any time, withdraw or change their consent preferences. To do so, simply access the cookie management tool provided by Correia Rosa Lda.
You can also configure the use of ‘cookies’ in your browser’s settings, specifically in the privacy options. To do so, we recommend that you consult your browser’s help section or menu, or visit the relevant provider’s website. For your information, we have listed below some useful links to the main browser software providers:
In addition, you can find further information about ‘cookies’ in the documentation available on the following page: https://www.aboutcookies.org/default.aspx?page=1.
5- Intellectual and industrial property

The name, design and logos featured on this website are duly registered trade marks. Any unauthorised use may be subject to penalties in accordance with current legislation.
Third-party intellectual property rights and trade marks are highlighted, and users must respect them at all times.
It is prohibited to reproduce, publicly communicate, distribute, transfer or transmit, modify or delete the information, content or notices on the website, unless prior, express and written authorisation has been obtained from Correia Rosa Lda.
