Support programme run by the CMCR and the Parish Councils
Unfortunately, every day we come across situations where families are unable to afford the medicines prescribed by doctors.
With these families in mind, Caldas da Rainha Town Council and the Parish Council of Santo Onofre and Serra do Bouro have set up a programme in partnership with Correia Rosa Pharmacies to help families in need access the medication prescribed by their doctor.
How does the support programme work?
You can apply at the Santo Onofre and Serra do Bouro parish council or at Caldas da Rainha Town Hall.
Residents of Caldas da Rainha who have difficulty buying medicines.
At Caldense and Rosa pharmacies, please present a card issued by the local council or a referral form issued by the City Council, together with your prescription.
All prescription-only medicines prescribed by the doctor. Wherever possible, the lowest-priced generic versions will be dispensed.
What do I need to know?
This programme improves access to medicines and, consequently, improves access to healthcare.
Caldense and Rosa Pharmacies, Caldas da Rainha Town Council and the Santos Onofre and Serra do Bouro Parish Council.
According to the application submitted, an annual amount may be allocated for expenditure. In other cases, one-off applications are made for a limited period.
If this support is not sufficient, you can apply for the Abem programme.
