At Correia Rosa pharmacies, we carry out COVID-19 tests (SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen tests). These tests are based on the detection of specific SARS-CoV proteins and are used for the diagnosis and screening of SARS-CoV-2 infection. In addition to SARS-CoV-2, these tests also detect the presence of influenza A and B viruses and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
What can we expect?
At the Caldense, Rosa and Santa Catarina pharmacies, we carry out COVID-19 tests in accordance with current regulations, whilst adhering to all health and safety protocols.
The test is quick to carry out and you can get the results after 30 minutes.
The tests carried out at Correia Rosa Pharmacies also detect the presence of influenza A and B viruses and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
If your test result is positive, you can count on our team of professionals to help manage any associated symptoms.
What do I need to know?
The test is carried out by taking a sample of nasopharyngeal secretions from the nose and/or throat using a swab.
The results are available within a maximum of 30 minutes.
In addition to situations where a negative test certificate is required (e.g. travel), we recommend that anyone exhibiting symptoms suggestive of SARS-CoV-2 infection and/or anyone who has been in contact with people belonging to groups at risk of severe COVID-19 should be tested.
At the Caldense, Rosa and Santa Catarina pharmacies, you must bring your ID (citizen’s card or passport) with you.
The service costs €18.00, or you can purchase our two-test pack (Acute Oropharyngeal Infection and COVID) for €30.00.
To minimise waiting times, we recommend booking an appointment for the test.
