Margarida Benedito
Margarida Benedito is a pharmacist at the Caldense and Rosa pharmacies.
As well as providing customer service, she is responsible for marketing and communications at the Correia Rosa pharmacies.
I currently live in Peniche, but over the years I have lived in various places around the country. This has made me a resourceful person and has helped me make friends more easily.
When I decided to enrol at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon, I had planned to go into research once I’d finished my master’s degree. However, after my placement in a community pharmacy, I realised that this was the path for me!
I have been working at Correia Rosa pharmacies since 2012, and right from the start I realised that I could expand my role beyond providing pharmaceutical advice over the counter.
That was when I discovered digital marketing – the perfect tool for taking our excellent customer service beyond the doors of our pharmacies. Today, as well as being a pharmacist, I’m in charge of communications and marketing for the Correia Rosa pharmacies.
At the moment, my free time is taken up with my children’s games and mischief. Apart from that, I enjoy walking by the sea, reading and spending quality time with friends.”
