“I started working at Farmácia Rosa just before I finished my degree. I was the youngest of all my colleagues, in a predominantly male team with many years of experience.
I felt straight away that I had joined a company with a rich history, founded by someone I greatly admire, even though I never met him: Dr Rosa.
On this journey, since 2003, I have grown both personally and professionally, and I have learnt from those I have worked with – who inspire me – that respect, friendship and dedication are essential to ‘loving’ our profession.
I have been proud to wear this shirt and belong to this team which, despite having undergone changes over the years, has always been the best team in the world! Today, as part of a predominantly female team, I feel grateful for the journey we’ve been on and strive to keep alive and never forget certain principles that each of those who have passed through here have left us.
Aware that front-of-house service is also a ‘reflection’ of all the vital work carried out behind the scenes, I recognise and am grateful for what I’ve learnt in various areas. Thank you to everyone!!”

“My time with this company began on 1 August 2000. At the time, I was just a young man fresh out of university, eager to become a pharmacist. As I sought to build a life of my own, I wasn’t sure whether I would settle into this new city and region, which was so different from my hometown, Coimbra.
Indeed, 25 years on, I have made my mark, put down roots, started a family and become involved in civil society – and Correia Rosa has always been there to support me and make all of this possible. They have always treated me with respect, always believed in my abilities and helped me to grow. Even though I know that jobs don’t last that long these days, I believe I am an example to everyone: I have gone through every stage of my career within the company and now hold responsibilities I never imagined I would have when I first joined Farmácia Rosa in 2000!!!
I’m so glad I chose this organisation and this area to build my life’s work. I’ve grown so much both as a person and as a professional; today I can say that I’m a pharmacist! Thank you.”

“Working at Farmácias Correia Rosa wasn’t part of a meticulously planned career path. Rather, it was a fortunate convergence of opportunity and a desire to always do more and do it better. I joined the team in 2012 and, since then, I have grown alongside the group itself. I started at Farmácia Rosa, where one of my first responsibilities was preparing methadone. Shortly afterwards, I moved to Farmácia Caldense, where I stayed for a few years. As the months went by, I began taking on some marketing tasks and my interest in this area began to grow. In 2018, I returned to Farmácia Rosa, where I stayed until I became a mother. When necessary, I would also work at Farmácia Santa Catarina. Having worked in all the group’s pharmacies meant I got to know all my colleagues and had the opportunity to carry out a variety of tasks and take on various responsibilities. I believe this variety of experiences was crucial to the role I currently hold. All this is to say that, within this group, we have the opportunity to grow in various areas; we just need to be willing and to add value to everything we do, even to those tasks that might not seem all that important!
