Joana Varge

Joana Varge is a pharmacist at Farmácias Caldense and Rosa.

As well as serving customers at the counter, she enjoys applying her knowledge to other areas of pharmacy! She is therefore responsible for the Individualised Preparation of Medication, the Hypertension Support Unit and the patient consultation services.

“I’m Joana, and I was born in the district of Santarém. I’m therefore a true Ribatejo native.

I have a close-knit and wonderful family (including my dog), who are the pillars of my life!”

I hold a Master’s degree in Community Pharmacy from UBI, near Serra da Estrela.

I’m interested in interpersonal relationships and mutual support. I love travelling and discovering new cultures, customs and cuisines. I can’t do without moments spent on the beach or in nature, full of adventure.

Science combined with technology, with all its dynamism and development, fascinates me. I’m ambitious, I like to understand the ‘why’ behind things, I’m organised, curious, a perfectionist, and I always try to bring a touch of flair to my work.

My profession allows me to get to know people, investigate and help others, find solutions to ‘problems’ and contribute to a happier, healthier life!”

I like to do a bit of everything and I don’t like monotony, stagnation or repetition. I like to develop and explore different areas.

I’ve been a sports enthusiast for as long as I can remember; I enjoy camaraderie, working as part of a team and being part of a team!”
