Eva Monção is our marketing assistant and you can find her at Correia Rosa pharmacies.
“Hello! My name is Eva Monção. I was born and brought up in Torres Vedras, but I currently live in Peniche.
Born in 2003… yes, 2003. Which makes me the youngest member of Farmácias Correia Rosa.
I have a degree in Tourism Marketing and am currently studying for a master’s degree in Tourism Marketing and Promotion.
I have had a number of professional roles in the hospitality industry, and it was during one of these roles that the opportunity arose to come and work at Farmácias Correia Rosa.
I’m creative, outgoing and always keen to learn new things. I’m currently falling in love with the healthcare sector because it’s a world I know little about and because it has such a huge impact on society as a whole.
I like to feel that I play an important role in society, and what do my field of study (Tourism) and health have in common? People’s wellbeing! And I feel fulfilled by being able to forge a connection between people and the promotion of health and wellbeing.
I have a great passion for cooking, which is why I run my own small cookery and bakery business.
I love going to the beach, going out with friends, reading, studying and going for walks.”

If you could solve one problem in the world, which one would you choose and why?
No one should have to choose between eating and buying medicine.
Health should not depend on anyone’s financial situation. Yet every day there are people who put off treatment, share their medicines or simply give up – not because they don’t want to, but because they can’t afford it.
Solving this problem would mean ensuring access to medicines. It would mean treating healthcare as a human right, not as a matter of luck or the balance in one’s bank account.
